The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of major projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. This is a key leadership role, offering the chance to deliver high-profile builds, manage multidisciplinary teams, and shape the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in roofing and cladding with exceptional leadership, planning, and commercial skills, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality standards.
  • Ensure adequate and compliant labour resources across all projects, aligned with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Procure materials, negotiate best value with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery through effective scheduling and tracking.
  • Manage plant and equipment requirements, ensuring compliance and suitability for purpose.
  • Deliver works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Implement site inspections and quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Prepare, review, and update site-specific risk assessments and method statements.
  • Collaborate with the Planner to maintain accurate project programmes and communicate updates to clients.
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure cost-effective and specification-compliant solutions.
  • Attend site coordination and progress meetings with main contractors and clients.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of project Bills of Quantities in collaboration with the Quantity Surveying team.
  • Monitor labour, attendance, and preliminary costs to ensure alignment with project estimates.
  • Report variations promptly to the Project Director and Commercial team to support timely claims.
  • Re-measure completed works and submit to the Contracts Manager.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage deliveries and conduct on-site quality checks.
  • Issue weekly project reports to clients and senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with site teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure full legislative compliance.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and photographic evidence.
  • Uphold the company’s professional image at all times.
  • Work on-site in Dublin, with flexibility for project-related requirements.

Requirements

Person Specification

  • Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 8 years’ project management experience within roofing and cladding.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, construction methods, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • High level of IT proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Microsoft Project advantageous.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Based in Dublin, able to work primarily on-site.
