Description

The Marketing Intern supports the marketing and communications team in executing initiatives that enhance Angels of Care’s brand awareness, community engagement, and communication efforts. This position provides hands-on experience in healthcare marketing, digital communications, and brand development while contributing to projects that support the organization’s mission of delivering compassionate pediatric home health care.
 
Under the guidance of the marketing leadership team, the intern will assist with content development, social media initiatives, marketing campaigns, and communication materials. This role offers an opportunity to learn about marketing strategy, digital engagement, and community outreach in a fast-paced healthcare environment while gaining practical experience in professional marketing practices.
 
This is a part-time, primarily remote role - this position may include occasional opportunities for local travel to support content creation.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the development and organization of marketing and communication materials for digital, social media, and print platforms.
  • Support the marketing team in planning and executing marketing campaigns, social media initiatives, and community outreach efforts.
  • Assist with the creation and editing of marketing content including social media posts, website updates, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Conduct research on healthcare marketing trends, digital media practices, and community engagement strategies to support marketing initiatives.
  • Help monitor social media platforms and assist with tracking engagement metrics and campaign performance.
  • Assist with maintaining brand consistency across marketing materials and communication channels.
  • Support marketing event preparation, outreach activities, and community engagement initiatives when applicable.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to support marketing projects and communication efforts.
  • Perform administrative and project support tasks related to marketing initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous internship, academic project, or volunteer experience related to marketing, communications, digital media, or content creation preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital marketing concepts.
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks.
