| The Functional Deployment Site practitioner will support the full lifecycle of a Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementation across multiple medical centers. The Practitioner is responsible for performing/organizing discovery efforts at various hospitals & clinics (i.e. sites) related to workflows, clinical services, SOPs, shared services, & research information and will then perform post discovery analysis to inform functional & clinical scope and requirements. Building an understanding of the client's list of standard capabilities, workflows, and services is essential to perform meaningful discovery and gap analysis. Throughout remainder of the deployment lifecycle, the Practitioner will support building recommendations for addressing capability gaps, own relationships with relevant clinical and functional stakeholders, and ensure the functional readiness for the transition to a new EHR. The Practitioner will act as a bridge between technical and clinical teams, translating requirements and changes to ensure understanding by deployment sites. Additionally, they will collaborate closely with Change Management (CM) and End User Engagement & Adoption (EUEA) teams to provide clinical guidance; support key deployment activities such as User Readiness Assessments (URA), data collection and build, testing, training, and adoption events; and document lessons learned throughout the deployment process to inform and improve future implementations. Semi-frequent travel expected to hospitals and clinics in various geographies. Significant client interaction is expected. Previous hospital/clinic assessment experience, familiarity with clinical information systems, familiarity with inpatient & outpatient services, previous Oracle EHR (or similar vendors) is preferred. |
