  • Manage receipt and payment activities for all construction projects, including permitting, utilities, and lease administration
  • Oversee treasury operations: cash management, bank verifications/payments, cash flow forecasting for assigned entities, and maintenance of 70+ bank accounts and merchant IDs
  • Ensure insurance requirements are met: certificate of insurance compliance and tracking
  • Process, manage, and account for all claims, supporting risk management

Job description

Finance Coordinator

The Finance Coordinator – will support both the Development & Construction as well as the Treasury & Risk operations for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. This individual contributor will assist in the administration of projects from development through construction up to the point of opening. Additionally, they will manage day to day vendor relationships, insurance requirements, and oversee the cash management platform for over 70 locations. Position is on-site and based in Columbus, OH. 

Pay: $20-$25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Construction/Lease Administration:

  • Responsible for the receipt payment activities for all construction projects
  • Administration of all permitting and utilities
  • Support the administration and accounting for leases

Treasury

  • Oversee cash management including bank verification and payment processing
  • Forecast cash flow for assigned legal entities
  • Maintain over 70 bank accounts
  • Establish and monitor all merchant IDs

Risk

  • Ensure certificate of insurance compliance and tracking
  • Process, manage and account for all claims

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • 2+ years or related experience with construction accounting
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Procore, a plus
