  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Office suites.
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM for phone and 45+ WPM for chat; reliable internet connection; detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Handle inbound call/chat volume (40-50 inbound calls/chats per 8-hour day) and provide high-quality customer service.
  • Complete all Brand Sales Trainings (BST) each month and meet 85% schedule adherence per the Genesys system.
  • Maintain accurate customer records by logging and retaining correct information in Salesforce.com and address customer issues with problem-solving and ownership.
  • Proactively identify and report website, process, product page, or post-call issues or bugs; collaborate with a team of 15-20 other sales associates.

We have job openings in our Inbound Phone Divisions! As a Digital Sales Representative, your job will be taking care of the customer - “be the hero” as we say here at Ferguson Home Digital. You will be held accountable for your call/chat quality and performance metrics within service. We expect each and every sales representative to be present, invested, and committed to the overall customer experience.

The ideal candidate will exhibit superb relationship building and problem-solving skills while providing outstanding service through sales. An outstanding sales representative will focus on enhancing opportunities within every call to drive revenue and overall company growth. This role is approved to be fully remote within the United States in accordance with company policy. 

Pay:

Earn a comprehensive compensation package, including:

  • Competitive base salary starting at $21.50
  • Eligibility for our annual bonus program

Schedule Requirements:

  • This is a full‑time role requiring 40 hours per week, scheduled over 5 days.
  • Our Operating Hours are:
    • Monday–Friday: 5am–6pm Pacific/8am-9pm Eastern
    • Saturday: 6am–4pm Pacific/ 9:00am–7:00pm Eastern
  • Your schedule will fall within these operating hours
  • Evening and weekend shifts are common and should be expected
  • We use a quarterly Schedule Bid to align business needs with employee shift preferences

In this role, you will:

  • Handle inbound call/chat volume, with expectations of taking between 40-50 inbound customer calls/chats per 8-hour workday.
  • Complete all Brand Sales Trainings (BST) each month.
  • Meet 85% schedule adherence to assigned schedule as referenced in Genesys phone system.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards through call quality, problem solving, ownership over any customer issue, and going above & beyond to address all needs.
  • Maintain customer records by logging and retaining correct and precise information in Salesforce.com.
  • Proactively identify and report website, process, product page, or post‑call issues or bugs encountered during your daily workflow.
  • Work with a team of 15-20 other sales associates.
  • Success will be measured through call quality, and profit dollars generated monthly.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage guests.
  • All BST’s must be completed to be eligible for promotions.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of prior sales, retail, or customer service experience, or at least 3 months in a Ferguson Home Digital Customer Service job profile.
  • Be highly detail oriented and have superior interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience using critical thinking tools to solve customer issues.
  • Self-motivated, great teammate, and fast learner.
  • Systematic and adaptable approach.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office and Google Office suites.
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM for phone and 45+ WPM for chat.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Reliable and consistent internet connection.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
