Job description

Role: Reseller / Distribution Account Manager

Location: Home based / South East

Contract type: Full time, permanent

Carrier Solutions now have an opportunity for a Resell / Distribution Account Manager based ideally in the South East.

The main objectives for this role will be to identify and develop new business opportunities and grow the sales in conjunction with our distribution sales teams. Also to grow the CSUK overall business, quoting and selling all DX and VRF products with Toshiba and Carrier brands.

What will I be doing?

  • Maximising market share and increase sales revenue whilst controlling margin.
  • Work in conjunction with the current CSUK sales team to increase UK’s market share and presence within the allocated sales region.
  • Target and identify new/potential resellers/distributors.
  • Achieve sales targets and develop new business seeking opportunities for channel growth.
  • Update resellers on product and service developments to ensure they are fully armed to promote our products and services to the best of their ability.
  • Develop relationships with resellers through regular customer contact.
  • Collate monthly sales & forecast reports and work with National Distribution Manager to analyse and use to optimise sales potential.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of HVAC industry, in particular DX and VRF products.
  • Strong sales background in HVAC dealing with associated installing contractors, M&E’s and/or specification consultants.
  • Presentation skills and ability to conduct meetings.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to customer service excellence
  • UK Driving Licence
  • IT Literate with MS Office skills
