Requirements:

  • Develop, implement and coordinate regional sales and marketing strategy, including go-to-market approach (direct, via distribution or hybrid) and annual business plans for dealer accounts.
  • Manage direct and dealer channels to secure machine and parts sales, achieve targets and margins, and ensure all accounts are contracted and aligned to Terex Standards.
  • Train and advise dealer staff and end users on products, applications, services, warranties, and support; coordinate with engineers and service teams to meet needs; drive parts sales and service levels.
  • Conduct market research, gather product/service feedback, identify new opportunities, participate in trade shows and marketing activities, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and market development within the assigned region by developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies. This role manages both direct and dealer-based sales channels, establishes and supports dealer accounts, secures sales of machines and parts, and ensures alignment with company standards and profitability targets. The manager conducts market research, gathers product and service feedback, collaborates with internal teams to support technical, service, and parts needs, and participates in trade shows and marketing activities, all while promoting customer satisfaction and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

What you’ll do

  • To develop, implement and coordinate a sales and marketing strategy in line with the organisation’s growth targets for the region.
  • To identify the go to market strategy- direct, via distribution or a hybrid of both.
  • Appoint and assist in the development of new dealer accounts, where appropriate, within the region
  • Secure sales orders for machines and parts in line with agreed targets, whilst striving to maintain or improve company sales margins.
  • To develop, implement and manage sales and marketing initiatives either for direct sales or dealer accounts within the assigned region, in a highly professional capacity, respecting company confidentiality. 
  • Where appropriate develop and agree annual business plans for each dealer account, providing regular documented feedback on progress vs plan throughout the year.
  • Ensure all accounts are formally contracted, current and aligned to Terex Standards.
  • Establish sales targets and provide forecasts for machines and parts sale. 
  • Work with dealer accounts and company parts representatives to drive parts sales and improve dealer service levels.
  • Train and advise dealer staff or end users on company products, machine applications, services, warranties, and basic aspects of technical sales.
  • Liaise with other company functions to ensure dealer accounts have access to engineers, field service and other team members as necessary. 
  • Conduct research of local market and business activity and identify new opportunities for current and future products.
  • Obtain feedback on products and services, as well as changes, enhancements and new products and convey information to engineering and marketing team members for research and consideration. 
  • Gather and collate regular local submission of market data in line with agreed input targets.
  • Participate in establishing and tracking dealer / end user customer satisfaction levels.
  • Attend trade shows, dealer conferences, and exhibitions and play an active part in marketing activities as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with Terex regulations and local laws and advise of any contradictions with company policies and good business practices.

What you’ll bring 

  • Professional level practical knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing and sales
  • Significant direct experience of managing dealer accounts within the capital equipment    construction business is preferred, although not essential 
  • In-depth technical, sales and applications knowledge of volumetric mixer products
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations to customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to develop sales strategies
  • Thorough working knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with a variety of large teams
  • Time and Territory Management practices must be exceptional.
  • Need for commercial and innovative thinking
  • You must be goal and result orientated with the energy, perseverance, and commitment to drive forward sales to our Dealers and their customers.
  • Significant international travel is required to assigned territories.
