InnovMetric is looking for an Events and Communications Agent to ensure effective coordination between the head office and our subsidiaries. As part of a multidisciplinary marketing team, you will support the rollout of a wide range of initiatives—events, product launches, web campaigns, and marketing materials—while maintaining ongoing communication with our international teams.

Responsibilities:

Coordination:

  • Act as a key point of contact between international marketing leads and the head office
  • Support the deployment of projects led by subsidiaries and joint ventures (events, launches, web projects, etc.)
  • Coordinate the production and updating of marketing materials (brochures, banners, promotional items)
  • Share marketing updates, news, and resources with international teams
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing operations processes

 

Event support in North America:

  • Participate in event planning (trade shows, seminars, conferences, webinars), considering objectives, budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Support event logistics from preparation through on‑site execution, including material shipments, equipment purchases, vendor follow‑ups, and task tracking
  • Assist the lead project manager with the preparation of documents, guidelines, schedules, and pre‑event meetings
  • Collaborate on the practical organization of events (accommodations, event creation and publication on our platforms, kickoff meetings)
  • Provide high‑quality customer service at commercial events by welcoming visitors and directing them to the appropriate resources
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in event coordination, project management, or a related field
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and rigorous
  • Strong interest in teamwork, international environments, and event planning
  • Comfortable working in both French and English, spoken and written, and able to communicate effectively in both languages*
  • Available to travel a few times per year within Canada and the United States
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
