Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coupa implementation/rollout experience (P2P and SIM modules expertise mandatory)
  • Coupa Platform Certification
  • Postman experience and familiarity with integration formats (JSON, XML, cXML, APIs, sFTP)

Requirements:

  • Manage Coupa configurations and documentation, including change requests, release upgrades, SIM form customization, PO templates, tolerances, approval chains, and invoice presentations.
  • Coordinate Coupa releases (three per year), upgrade environments with minimal production impact, and create/maintain test plans for user acceptance testing and defect resolution; oversee sandbox and production environments.
  • Oversee integration management: ERP/middleware interfaces, integration testing, API usage, master data synchronization across systems, monitor daily integration jobs and resolve failures (PO/Invoice integrations).
  • Drive business process optimization: analyze procure-to-pay processes, advise on best practices using new Coupa features, provide Level 2/3 support via ServiceNow, and deliver training to users.

Title: Coupa Implementor

Location: Remote

Mode- Contract

Position Summary:

Primary role is to ensure that Coupa and business processes supporting Coupa are functioning in accordance to Client Procurement policies. Manage and improve applicable functionalities in Coupa that include but are not limited to tasks involving new item set up, creating forms, approvals, training aids, and user access to ensure that there is ongoing consistency and accuracy of such functions.

This role regularly requires interactions with members of Business Purchasing, Accounts Payable, key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the efficient use of Coupa. It needs to have high-level understanding of the Procure-to-Pay process and should be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Coupa Administration/Configurations

  • Maintaining all configuration and solution design documentation, incorporating all impacts from change requests and new functionality implemented through release upgrades.
  • Customization of SIM forms, PO Liquid Template, Managing the Tolerances, Approval chains and invoice Presentations etc in Coupa.
  • Review each new release of Coupa (three releases a year) to coordinate upgrade of environments to ensure minimal impact on current production instance/business as usual.
  • Creating and maintaining test plans for user acceptance testing on new Coupa functionality, defect resolution and testing of fixes to defects in releases.
  • Managing All Sandbox instances and Production instance effectively.

Integration Management

  • Work with ERP, Middleware and support of Coupa integrations with interfacing systems.
  • Coordinating integration testing of interfaces between Coupa and other application(s).
  • Define the limitation of Coupa for each integration for better design and development of the integration.
  • Maintaining and Managing the Master Data in Coupa from other applications through interface.
  • Understanding of API’s to integrate Coupa with other applications.
  • Monitor daily integration jobs, work with corresponding to fix the errors for integration failures.
  • Work on PO & Invoice Integration failures, resolve the errors with permanent solution.

Business Process Optimization

  • Responsible for understanding business processes at a level that processes can be reviewed in the context of each new Coupa Platform release to determine if efficiencies can be gained by using the new features and capabilities.
  • Providing consultative guidance and application expertise to advise business users on best practice processes and functionality/capability of Coupa.
  • Providing Level 2 and Level 3 support by Incidents/Change Request through Service Now ticketing tool and managing escalations as appropriate.
  • Providing guidance and training to team members, managers and employees on processes and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coupa Platform Certified candidate.
  • Postman.
  • JSON, XML, cXML,API, sFTP servers.
