Communications Manager -Remote

Summary

The Communications Specialist will support overall CVP business objectives and key initiatives by executing internal communications and member engagement initiatives.  In addition, the individual will always act as a leader and steward of the CVP story.

Through cross-functional collaboration, the Communications Specialist will understand business partner objectives and provide the necessary communication components, ensuring the brand voice and tone are consistent across all channels. 

Essential Responsibilities

--Create compelling and consistent internal communications reflecting CVP’s brand and culture. 

--Dispatch internal publications across all communication channels

--Collaborate with business partners to develop new or refine existing company communications

--Support overall community engagement strategy 

--Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns

--Represent the Communications team in relevant cross-functional meetings, as needed

Experience and Background

--Three plus (3) years of related experience (experience levels adjusted based on educational areas of focus)

--Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

--Experience working in fast-paced environments and meeting tight deadlines

--Extensive understanding of communications tactics and processes

--Deep understanding of the evolving communications environment and knowledge of print, digital, and broadcast media and social media platforms
