About the Role

We are seeking an SAP Fiori / CAP Developer to design, develop, and support modern applications across the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role is responsible for building responsive Fiori/UI5 applications and backend services using SAP’s Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

You will work across SAP BTP, S/4HANA, and SuccessFactors integrations, delivering secure and scalable enterprise applications aligned with SAP best practices.

This position is open to candidates based in the Philippines (remote) and requires working Australian and New Zealand business hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using Fiori elements, SAPUI5, and CAP‑based UIs.
• Build reusable UI components and ensure responsive, cross‑device, cross‑browser experiences.
• Configure and maintain the SAP Fiori Launchpad (spaces/pages/catalogs/groups).
• Integrate Fiori applications with CAP services, S/4HANA OData APIs, and other SAP BTP services.
• Design and implement CAP services including CDS models, handlers, and OData/REST APIs.
• Integrate CAP applications with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and external systems.
• Ensure secure authentication and authorisation using IAS/XSUAA and best‑practice security models.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, automated testing, and DevOps standards.
• Troubleshoot performance, OData, UI, and backend service issues across environments.
• Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and integration teams on solution delivery.

Your qualifications and experience

• Hands‑on experience developing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript with experience in SAP CAP (Node.js/TypeScript).
• Solid understanding of responsive design, Fiori patterns, and UI/UX best practices.
• Experience with SAP BTP services such as HTML5 repo, Destination Service, XSUAA/IAS, and Cloud Foundry.
• Experience consuming and troubleshooting OData v2/v4 services.
• Strong Git, CI/CD, and testing experience (QUnit/OPA5/Jest/etc.).
• 3+ years SAP development experience, with 1–3+ years on BTP/CAP preferred.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and released APIs.
• Exposure to SAP Build Work Zone, Mobile Services, APIM.
• SAP certifications (BTP, Fiori/UI5, CAP).
