Job Description:

Supervise daily operations of Utilization Management staff and serves as the primary point of contact for barriers or concerns. Utilize critical thinking and expertise in Utilization Management regarding medical necessity criteria, patient status, level of care, and regulatory compliance. Champion implementing practice changes and serve as a supportive change agent. Build relationships to promote interdisciplinary collaboration. Assist with staff performance reviews and evaluations and provides support for corrective action plans. Perform chart reviews to ensure policy, procedure, and standards compliance. Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of Utilization Management processes, medical necessity criteria, and compliance guidelines [Required]

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]



Schedule:

Monday-Friday 6:30a start



Work Experience:

• 1+ year utilization management or case management [Required]

• 3+ years clinical nursing [Required]

• 5+ years clinical nursing in an acute care setting [Preferred]

• Experience working in electronic health records [Preferred]

$65,622.66 - $122,055.21
