  • Strong expertise in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-driven discovery, with experience using GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs, and Profound; data-driven experimentation mindset.

Requirements:

  • Own and evolve Sectigo’s Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and enterprise SEO strategy, including technical SEO, site architecture, content strategy, internal linking, and expanding topical authority across traditional and AI-generated discovery platforms.
  • Own the performance and evolution of the enterprise website as a core growth channel, focusing on UX, content architecture, site performance, buyer journeys, and ongoing experimentation; scale localized digital experiences in partnership with Product Marketing and Regional Marketing.
  • Lead continuous optimization through a structured experimentation framework, prioritizing opportunities that deliver measurable outcomes and ensuring initiatives move from idea to implementation with data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with web development, product marketing, content, and regional marketing teams; establish reporting that connects digital performance to pipeline and revenue and drive improvements in organic visibility, inbound traffic, and conversion.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Digital Marketing Director to join our growing global team at Sectigo.

The Director, Digital Marketing leads Sectigo’s enterprise website and organic discovery strategy, with a focus on SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), content intelligence, and AI-driven discoverability.

This role plays a critical part in shaping how enterprise buyers discover, evaluate, and engage with Sectigo across the digital journey, from high-intent search and structured content to visibility across generative platforms such as ChatGPT, Google SGE, Perplexity, and Claude.

The Director will lead the evolution of Sectigo’s digital presence as a high-performing growth platform, ensuring the website, content ecosystem, and technical architecture are optimized for modern discovery systems and enterprise buyer behavior.

This is a strategic but hands-on role. The ideal candidate combines strong digital leadership with an operator mindset, someone comfortable defining strategy while also working closely with teams to implement improvements, run experiments, and deliver measurable results.

The role currently has one direct report (Digital Marketing Specialist) and works closely with web development, product marketing, content, and regional marketing teams across the organization.

This is a full-time and remote position based in the U.S., with the ideal candidate located in the east coast and in Eastern Time.  The target compensation package for this role is between $130K and $150K in the base, subject upon internal equity and years of experience.  We may make further adjustments through an approval process if the targeted compensation range needs to be modified based on business needs and market trends.

Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role: 

GEO, AI Discovery & Enterprise SEO

  • Own and evolve Sectigo’s Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy, maximizing brand visibility across AI-native discovery platforms.
  • Ensure content is structured, relevant, and easy to discover, both for human buyers and modern search technologies.
  • Lead enterprise SEO strategy, including technical SEO, site architecture, content strategy, and internal linking.
  • Translate emerging AI prompt patterns, search behavior, and buyer questions into high-intent landing pages, knowledge assets, and digital journeys.
  • Expand Sectigo’s topical authority across key topics, positioning the company as a trusted reference in both traditional search and AI-generated answers.

Enterprise Website and Digital Experience

  • Own the performance, discoverability, and evolution of Sectigo’s enterprise website as a core growth channel.
  • Treat the website as a continuously optimized product, improving UX, content architecture, site performance, and buyer journeys through ongoing experimentation.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Regional Marketing to scale localized digital experiences across priority markets while maintaining global consistency.
  • Identify gaps in content coverage and buyer education, expanding Sectigo’s digital footprint through thought leadership, use cases, documentation, and technical resources.
  • Improve conversion performance through landing page optimization, behavioral insights, and data-driven experimentation.

Execution & Continuous Optimization

  • Quickly assess opportunities across SEO, GEO, and web experience, prioritizing initiatives that deliver the greatest impact.
  • Implement a structured experimentation framework to continuously improve landing pages, content structure, and digital journeys.
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery, ensuring initiatives move efficiently from idea to implementation.
  • Maintain a strong focus on measurable outcomes, connecting digital performance to traffic quality, engagement, and pipeline contribution.

Success in this role is defined by measurable progress across the following areas:

  • Improve organic visibility and inbound traffic, with measurable gains in search rankings, GEO presence, and AI citations.
  • Expand high-quality content that attracts and converts the right audiences.
  • Improve website conversion performance, driven by ongoing testing and optimization.
  • Build a more structured and scalable content architecture across business lines.
  • Establish clear reporting that connects digital performance to pipeline and revenue. 

Additional tasks associated with this position may be assigned in response to company initiatives and business needs.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline strongly preferred. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are considered a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or infrastructure technology companies is required.
  • Experience supporting and partnering with global marketing teams in a cross-regional environment is required.
  • Demonstrated success leading SEO, website optimization, and digital content performance program is required.
  • The ideal candidate should be based in the eastern time zone of the United States.
