The Role
Vantage Futures is seeking a highly motivated venture capital focused resource to support our investment team.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to venture investing within the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
This Vantage Futures Intern will report to the Director, Vantage Futures and will be responsible for supporting the following. Interns will assist with deal sourcing, early-stage due diligence, industry research, and investment analysis, while gaining insight into the full lifecycle of venture investments.
Candidates with availability beyond the summer months are preferred, as an extended timeline allows exposure to the complete cycle of sourcing, evaluating, and potentially executing an investment.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a quick learner who can work independently, with superior organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The qualified candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, a high degree of integrity and objectivity, and innovation in approaching project challenges.

:Primary Qualifications:
Education: Currently enrolled in undergraduate, or post-graduate, degree. Actively pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, communications business, economics, or related fields preferred.

What You’ll Gain
Primary Work Location: Remote, but must be currently located in the Greater Toronto Area (the opportunity for in-person business and client meetings along with other events will come up)
Employment Status: Internship, Co-Op
This summer internship requires full-time availability (Monday-Friday, approximately 40 hours per week) for a minimum of four months. Interns who are interested and available will have the opportunity to extend their internship beyond the summer, allowing for deeper exposure to the venture investment process. Extended internships during the academic year will transition to a flexible and part-time schedule.
