This is a remote position supporting teams across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce high-quality branded materials supporting proposals, SOQs, and client pursuits within the AEC space
  • Translate technical content (engineering, land, infrastructure, energy projects) into clear, visually compelling layouts and graphics
  • Create proposal templates, infographics, maps, and presentation materials that enhance readability and win themes
  • Support business development efforts through polished, deadline-driven design execution for active pursuits
  • Execute creative assets for internal and external communications, including presentations, digital campaigns, and marketing collateral
  • Ensure consistent application of Atwell’s brand standards across all deliverables and business lines
  • Maintain and evolve brand templates, particularly those used for proposals and technical documentation
  • Organize and manage digital asset libraries, including project imagery and reusable graphics
  • Collaborate with proposal managers, technical staff, and marketing partners to align messaging and visuals
  • Conduct periodic audits of proposal and marketing materials to ensure brand and quality consistency
  • Incorporate feedback quickly and effectively, especially under tight proposal deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Visual Communications, or related field
  • 1–3+ years of experience in the AEC industry or supporting professional services firms (engineering, consulting, construction, or related)
  • Proven experience supporting proposal development, SOQs, or business development materials
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong understanding of layout design, typography, and visual hierarchy—particularly for long-form, content-heavy documents
  • Ability to work with technical teams and translate complex information into clear visuals
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments (especially proposal cycles)
  • Experience maintaining brand standards across multiple teams or business units
