Roles & Responsibilities

  • 3–5 years of experience in residential construction or project home environments
  • Strong knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, and State Environmental Planning Policies
  • Experience using Revit (intermediate to advanced level)
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Requirements:

  • Assist in preparing architectural drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, and details) using CAD software and Revit; support BIM management, master creation, and maintenance
  • Interpret design concepts into accurate construction drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements and building codes; incorporate revisions throughout the design and construction process
  • Coordinate with external consultants (e.g., structural engineers and contractors) and internal stakeholders to integrate input and maintain organized project files and documentation
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders via inbound and outbound phone calls to support project communication

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, using computer-aided design (CAD) software, Revit.
  • Assist in the preparation of BIM management, Master Creation and maintenance.
  • Interpret and implement design concepts provided by architects and designers into accurate and detailed construction drawings.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure drawings align with project requirements, building codes, and regulations.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions into drawings as necessary throughout the design and construction process.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation, including revisions and updates to drawings.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, such as structural engineers and contractors, to integrate their input into architectural drawings.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders through inbound and outbound phone calls.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in residential construction or project home environments.
  • Strong knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, and State Environmental Planning Policies
  • Experience using Revit. Intermediate to advanced level.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and perform under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
