Impact Performance Team (IPT) is a premier advisory and strategic consulting company. We help small business owners and agency principals build high-performing teams, increase revenue, and scale their business to reach the lifestyle they desire. We are headquartered in Charleston, SC, and looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Business Support Manager to help keep our operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Role Overview:

This is a part-time (1099) executive and operational support role working directly with IPT's leadership. This position starts at 10 to 20 hours per week with the opportunity to grow over time. We are looking to fill this role immediately. You'll be the operational backbone, managing schedules, communications, and day-to-day workflows that keep the business moving. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and maintain calendars, scheduling, and meeting logistics
  • Monitor and manage email inbox, draft, organize, and respond on behalf of leadership
  • Prepare meeting agendas, compile briefing materials, and distribute follow-up notes and action items
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client and candidate communications, professional, timely, and on-brand
  • Handle internal communications and help coordinate cross-functional tasks
  • Manage billing, invoicing, and basic financial tracking and follow-up
  • Build and maintain process and workflow documentation to support operational efficiency
  • Assist with special projects, research, and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Currently available for part-time work and not employed full-time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that are professional, clear, and concise
  • Highly organized and self-directed with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing tasks with minimal oversight
  • Proficient with standard productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Zoom
  • Discreet and trustworthy, able to handle confidential business and client information with professionalism
  • Experience in operations, recruiting, insurance, or a professional services environment is a plus
