  • Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans for each equipment item and ensure master material lists align with client standards
  • Configure and test response plans in the CMMS to optimize maintenance strategies and maximize asset reliability

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS


We are seeking a Reliability Specialist to support the reliability department of a large multinational steel company. The Reliability Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing hierarchical structures for equipment systems; developing FMEA studies; creating response plans based on FMEA findings; creating, interpreting, and adjusting clients' maintenance strategy plans; and configuring and testing response plans on the client's CMMS platform to optimize maintenance processes, improve asset reliability, and maximize operational efficiency. 


  • Function Location Setup: Create a detailed and organized asset hierarchy within the CMMS until the component level. 


  • FMEA and Response Plan: Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes and their impact on operations. Develop a response plan to address and mitigate these risks, enhancing reliability and safety. 


  • Maintenance Plan Creation: Develop detailed maintenance plans for each piece of equipment.  


  • CMMS Utilization: Utilize the CMMS, with a focus on SAP PM and MM modules, to develop hierarchical asset structures, maintenance plans, and master material lists, supporting the optimization of maintenance strategies and ensuring alignment with client standards. 



REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS


Demonstrate experience in maintenance, operations, engineering principles, and building and developing teams. 


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical). 


  • Fully proficient in English. 


  • Experience in a Steel Company, focus on steelmaking, galvanizing and lamination. 


  • Knowledge of SAP software utilization (PM and MM). 


  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals is required. 


  • Knowledge of Steel industry systems (Electrical, Mechanical, Process systems). 


  • Experience in applying RCM methodology. 


  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel pivot tables and charting. 


  • Strong organizational skills coupled with leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 


  • Availability for international travel
