Job Summary:

Church & Dwight is seeking a National Account Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for directly managing the sales process for a national customer. This role may include the supervision and guidance of a Broker, ensuring that all CHD goals and objectives are effectively executed and achieved.

Work Environment

Remote: This role is performed on a remote basis. Occasional attendance at in-person meetings required as business needs dictate.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to deliver business objectives

  • Attainment of annual sales, trade-spending, and profit goals

  • Identify opportunities for profitable growth within existing accounts and develop plans to capitalize on them.

  • Ability to analyze Syndicated and consumption data to help deliver overall goals

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry developments

  • Oversight of Broker Partner to achieve Church & Dwight strategic goals by providing leadership, direction and support to deliver objectives

  • Responsible for overall financial management (Siebel, Trade Spend, Deductions, Slotting, SG&A)

  • Build relationships at senior levels in key customers to maximize CHD results

  • Ability to lead and collaborate with internal sales, marketing, RGM, and finance functions

Education and Experience:                                                          

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience selling within CPG industry

  • Experience managing broker network preferred

  • Experience managing Walgreens or Drug Accounts preferred

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Syndicated Data, Trade Promotion Management

  • Position requires individual to have a thorough understanding of business financials and experience presenting to executive level personnel within their own company and at top Retailers.
