Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (MBA preferred; degree waiver for nine or more years of directly relevant experience)

  • Lead development and execution of marketing, sales and program implementation strategies to increase customer satisfaction and participation; support program communications and outreach
  • Track program metrics, prepare status reports against objectives, timelines, budgets and goals; stay current with ongoing trends in energy efficiency and demand response

About The Position

The Program Supervisor, Energy Efficiency is responsible for the oversight of company and contractor implemented programs within Ameren Illinois' Energy Efficiency portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the performance of contractors responsible for the implementation and operation of energy efficiency and demand response programs.
  • Oversee the coordination of internal and external resources (subcontractors and vendors) committed to successful program execution.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices. Manage contract compliance. Coordinate accounting activities with Corporate Accounting
  • Maintain an appropriate positive and mutually beneficial business relationship with business, professional groups, and industry allies in support of Ameren Illinois’ energy efficiency objectives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing, sales and program implementation strategies that increase customer satisfaction and motivate customers to implement energy efficiency and demand response projects.
  • Support internal and external program communication and outreach needs.
  • Track program metrics. Prepare status reports to accurately monitor progress against program objectives, timelines, budgets and goals.
  • Lead the development, implementation and track of project management.
  • Stay current with ongoing trends in energy efficiency and demand response.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. MBA preferred. Five or more years of relevant experience required (e.g., contract compliance, marketing, accounting, technology, data reporting, engineering). May waive degree requirement for candidates with nine or more years of directly relevant experience.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite; demonstrated critical thinking skills and customer service approach; strong leadership skills; ability to influence others; demonstrated team building and organizational skills; demonstrated business acumen, decision making problem solving, analytical and computational skill; demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and the following Ameren competencies: Think Customer, Inspire and Engage, Foster Innovation, Drive Results, Champion Learning, Build Trust, and Be Strategic.

Additional Information

Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$88,500.00 - $172,200.00

* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials.

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
