  • Track and follow up on outstanding requests to reduce risk and improve performance; collaborate with ROI vendors and HIM leadership as needed

Shift Details: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM (Overnight)

As our HIM Associate, you will help ensure timely, accurate, and compliant disclosure of patient health information while protecting confidentiality and meeting all state and federal requirements. Every day, you will process and validate ROI requests, retrieve records for disclosure, and prepare/document releases to ensure quality and regulatory compliance within required timelines. To thrive in this role you must excel at prioritizing work to meet deadlines and communicate clearly with customers and internal partners while maintaining strict confidentiality.


Here’s what you will experience working as an HIM Associate:

  • A high-volume, deadline-driven environment focused on turnaround time and quality

  • Daily collaboration with ROI vendors and escalation support with HIM leadership as needed

  • Work that requires strong attention to detail and consistent application of state/federal disclosure statutes

  • Responsibility for safeguarding PHI and maintaining privacy, dignity, and confidentiality

  • Active tracking and follow-up of outstanding requests to reduce risk and improve performance
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be located in Pacific Time Zone to support shift coverage

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $16.00 - $22.95 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
