Roles & Responsibilities

Job description

We’re on the lookout for Full Time Customer Care Specialists who genuinely care about having real, meaningful conversations with our customers. We're interested in speaking to candidates who want to grow their career with us. At CommBank, we believe in rewarding your development and performance.

Key Aspects of The Role:

  • Location: 79 John St, Launceston

  • Available shifts will be Full Time 38 hours per week:

  • Monday to Friday 10:30/45am – 7:00pm 

  • Tuesday to Saturday 8:00am – 4:15/30pm

  • Please note you must be able to accommodate shift changes within 2 hours of your assigned shifts start and finish times & you must be able to commit to this roster for 12 months.

Training:

  • Training will run for 5 weeks, Monday - Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

  • Training is a compulsory component and will be a mix of in person and virtual for the first 3 weeks.
    Please ensure you can attend all training sessions before applying.

  • Following the initial 5 weeks, you’ll continue to learn on your regular roster, to ensure you’re set up for success.

  • Training Start date - 11th May 2026

Your Development

In addition to training, we offer an 18 month development program to upskill and develop your Customer Care capabilities. Our 4 tier development program will see you broaden your skills across multiple banking products to help enhance the customer experience, with remuneration increases for each tier you reach.

Work from home with us

These positions have been designed so you can successfully perform your role in the comfort of your own home. All you need is a designated work area, and a connection to the internet, then leave the rest to us.

Our interactive “Hub” days will help you stay connected and engaged as a team, occur once every fortnight in our Launceston office. You will attend these fortnightly hub days to connect and outside of this you can work from home.
