Job Description:

Job Title: Operations Analyst Intern (Process Improvement & Automation)

Job Summary:

The Chicago School is seeking a Summer 2026 Operations Analyst Intern to support process improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the intern will collaborate with departments across the university to analyze business processes, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and help implement technology-enabled solutions.

Projects may include process analysis, documentation, and exploring automation opportunities using tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and Teams-based workflows.

This role is ideal for college juniors, seniors, or graduate students interested in business operations, process improvement, data analysis, or workflow automation who want hands-on experience working on operational improvement projects within a university environment.

The internship is 20 hours per week at $20.00 per hour and runs June 8 through August 14, 2026. This is a fully remote position, and candidates must reside within the United States.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend opportunities for improvement.

  • Monitor, report, and evaluate the impact of implemented solutions and recommend further enhancements.

Position Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology tools.
