RFP & Proposal Specialist – BioPharma

The Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing (BPT) Group is the largest network of harmonized bio/pharmaceutical GMP product testing laboratories worldwide. The service portfolio supports all stages of the drug development process and all functional areas of bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing, including method development, microbiology, process validation and quality control.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented RFP Responder within our Quoting Team to create compelling proposals for high‑impact customers. This highly visible role works closely with our Business Development team and collaborates across multiple departments to gather technical information, develop accurate pricing, and deliver polished, timely RFP responses for our largest customers.

This position is open to remote candidates that are willing to come onsite for relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate responses to RFPs, RFIs, quotations, and client‑supplied spreadsheets.
• Identify applicable testing for various matrices and determine responsible departments.
• Coordinate with technical experts to clarify feasibility, qualifiers, and pricing for unfamiliar or ambiguous testing.
• Lead or participate in Teams calls with internal SMEs, clients, and other Eurofins labs.
• Prepare clarification questions for clients to ensure complete and accurate proposals.
• Navigate challenging and complex client requests, propose appropriate techniques, and provide scientific clarification when needed.
• Organize and track multiple RFPs simultaneously, ensuring timely follow‑up and completion.
• Refine technical input into cohesive, customer‑ready content.
• Consolidate cross‑departmental responses into a unified proposal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience with the RFP process, including scoping, requesting proposals, contributing technical input, and preparing or responding to RFPs and technical proposals within BioPharma, Medical Device, or similar laboratory testing environments.
• Strong understanding of laboratory testing services, matrices, and analytical techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills—clear, concise, and focused.
• Proficiency with Microsoft productivity applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Planner) and document management applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Proficiency writing and working with complex Excel functions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs and drive resolution across teams.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with overtime as needed.
