We are seeking a detail-oriented Special Projects Billing & Collections Specialist to support a short-term initiative focused on invoice and billing cleanup. This role will play a critical part in ensuring billing accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and improving overall data integrity. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large datasets, and experienced in audit-like environments.
Perform comprehensive invoice and billing cleanup, including identifying and resolving discrepancies
Review historical billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Partner closely with the Retention and Billing teams to address account-level issues
Investigate and reconcile billing inconsistencies across systems
Support collections efforts by validating outstanding balances and correcting errors
Document findings, processes, and resolutions to improve future billing accuracy
Assist with process improvement initiatives related to billing operations
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Experience working in an audit, reconciliation, or data validation capacity
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
Comfortable working with large volumes of data and complex datasets
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
Experience with billing subscription platforms such as Chargebee or similar systems
Familiarity with subscription-based billing models
The salary for this role is: $65.00/hr
