DevSecOps Engineer

You are someone who goes beyond basic monitoring to identify improvements, build core security baselines, and ensure that every release is as secure as it is functional.

What you’ll be doing (in a nutshell):
In this role, you will take ownership of our security posture across our AWS and Azure estates. You will work closely with DevOps and Developer teams to integrate security into the heart of our delivery pipelines. Your mission is to enhance threat detection, manage vulnerability scanning, and ensure our infrastructure remains resilient as we scale.

Day-to-day you can expect to:

• Work alongside DevOps on active projects to enhance our overall security offering

• Enhance AWS infrastructure security and maintain a core security baseline

• Use Jira to manage and prioritize security tasks and ticketing workflows

• Examine existing and new processes to identify and implement security improvements

• Monitor applications and respond promptly to security alerts

• Perform static and dynamic security testing as part of pipeline enhancements

• Manage security scanning via Nessus for our web applications

• Test new application changes in Staging to assess potential security impacts

• Improve threat detection capabilities across the entire AWS estate

• Document security procedures and report on findings with clarity and precision
  

To be successful, you'll have:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps or an AWS focused security role

• Extensive experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and AWS Lambda

• Strong proficiency with Azure and Windows Server environments

• Solid understanding of IAM and SAML/SSO protocols

• Basic coding skills in a modern language and knowledge of React or React Native

• A detail-oriented approach with a strong security awareness and documentation ethic

• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate with highly technical peers
  
  

Bonus points if you bring:

• Experience with security tools such as AppCheck, DarkTrace, or Lacework/FortiCNAPP

• Proficiency in Golang or Ruby on Rails

• Hands-on experience with GitLab and configuring jobs in Nessus

• Previous experience in a fast-paced SaaS or online retail environment

The Interview Process

Our interview process involves 4 main stages:

• Short call with a member of the TA team

• 30-minute video call with Hiring Manager
