Job description

Location: United Kingdom

Work mode: 70% remote + business trips

Type: Full-time

Start Date: As soon as possible

At Hyperion Robotics, we are on a mission to bring sustainability and automation to one of the largest and most conservative sectors - the construction industry.

We collaborate with leading clients across construction, industrial, and infrastructure sectors, and are backed by some of Europe’s top investors. As we scale our commercial activities and project delivery, strong coordination between sales, customers, and operations is critical to our success.

We are now looking for a Sales Assistant to support and strengthen our commercial operations. This role sits at the centre of how we interact with customers and convert opportunities into delivered projects. You ensure that communication is clear, information is accurate, and nothing falls between the cracks.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to fast-moving environments. You like things to be organised, follow-through to be reliable, and communication to be precise. You are comfortable working in an environment where processes are still evolving, and you contribute to improving them.

What It Means In Practice:
  • You support the sales team by ensuring that all customer-facing documentation, such as quotes, orders, confirmations, and invoices, is delivered accurately and on time.

  • You assist in managing enquiries and strong relationships with our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience.

  • You maintain CRM systems so that data reflects reality, supporting forecasting, reporting, and decision-making.

  • You proactively engage with customers and leads through follow-ups and outbound communication, supporting sales targets and maintaining momentum across opportunities.

  • You participate in customer meetings, demos, and site visits (both virtual and in-person), supporting the sales process and ensuring clear communication.

  • You support the Sales Leadership team with scheduling, travel arrangement, and preparation, helping them operate efficiently.

To Succeed in This Role, We Expect:
  • You have proven experience in customer service, sales support, or a similar operational role.

  • You are comfortable and have experience working with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems (we're currently using HubSpot).

  • You communicate clearly and professionally, both internally and with customers.

  • You are reliable and structured - when you take ownership of something, it gets done properly and on time.

  • You are proactive and take initiative, especially when things are unclear or moving quickly.

  • You are comfortable managing multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.

  • You enjoy working with people and building strong working relationships.

  • You are interested in construction, manufacturing, or technology-driven industries.

  • You are willing to travel occasionally for customer meetings, demos, or industry events.

What we offer:
  • Competitive salary

  • Private medical insurance

  • Workplace pension scheme

  • 25 annual + 8 statutory holidays

  • An exciting opportunity to become a part of brand-new operations team in the UK

  • Full ownership to Sales coordination and support projects
