Location: South West U.S.A area, Remote with frequent travel to NM, TX, OK, NV, CA, CO sites

Position Summary

Protos Security is looking for a dynamic, skilled professional with a strong background in the security industry to join our team. Through a ‘boots on the ground’ presence, the Field Operations Manager conducts real-time analysis, professional support and gathers insights that can be leveraged organization-wide to enhance our processes, refine procedures, and boost efficiency both internally and externally. The Field Operations Manager will reside in the surrounding Phoenix area and will report to the Director of Field Operations.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducts site visits to ensure the execution of high-quality security services; evaluates quality and reports all findings in a timely manner. 
  • Ensures service expectations are met through regular contact, evaluation, and adjustment of service quality with all clients and posts. 
  • Collects information, facts, and data on security situations within the Protos environment through strategic and targeted engagements with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Effectively influences decision-making and promotes adoption of initiatives across teams without direct authority.
  • Partners with management and/or client representatives for status updates and to address any actual or potential problems as well as maintaining positive relationships. 
  • Provides support during client start-ups; provides input in terms of security planning, discoveries, and surveys; reviews statements of work and communicates requirements and changes to affected personnel.
  • Develops post orders, creates guard tours, and provides appropriate feedback for accountability and continuous improvement. 
  • Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as needed. 


Travel

Travel is required frequently between security locations in the surrounding Phoenix area. 


Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ security experience in any vertical and demonstrated success in a leadership role.
  • Military, Corporate security, law enforcement, and operations support management experience preferred.
  • Methodical and systematic approach to work and the ability to apply logic to processes.
  • Ability to build alignment and drive initiatives forward through influence, collaboration, and credibility rather than positional authority.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Process driven, detailed oriented and highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Independent and driven with demonstrated past results.
