Role: ITP Clinical Social Worker

Location: Iowa 

**32 hours per week, M-F, working with all age ranges!

Responsibilities of an ITP Clinical Social Worker can look like:

• Complete all notes in the prescribed timeline
• Comply with all regulations
• Develop and coordinate therapeutic program services on the behavioral health program unit.
• Educate patients and families on signs and symptoms of illness to prevent re-hospitalization and improve disease management skills.
• Ensure the clinic operates within all regulations
• Provide social service functions in the behavioral healthcare setting, including assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management to patients and families.
• Provide the best possible patient care
• Serve as a resource person to healthcare professionals concerning psycho-social problems and community resources.
• Work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for our patients.

• Education: master’s degree in social work from an accredited graduate school of social work required
• Licensure: License in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state of Iowa *If offered this position, ITP will pay for an Iowa License.
• Certification: Must meet any applicable Iowa certification standards required
