  • Manage the product backlog, ensure priorities reflect business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility; groom backlog, define user stories, and ensure clear requirements.
  • Lead the execution of product development efforts with engineering, design, and other teams; monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to deliver on time and within scope.

In this role you will:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and market trends. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including executives, customers, and cross-functional teams, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment on product goals. Foster strong relationships and facilitate communication to drive consensus and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
  • Backlog Management and Prioritization: Manage the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the latest priorities and is effectively prioritized based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility. Work closely with development teams to groom the backlog, define user stories, and ensure a clear understanding of requirements.
  • Product Development Oversight and Execution: Lead the execution of product development efforts, working closely with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality features and products on time and within scope. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • User Feedback Analysis and Iterative Improvement: Collect and analyze user feedback, usage metrics, and market data to identify areas for product improvement and optimization. Drive iterative development cycles, prioritizing enhancements and adjustments to continuously enhance the product experience.
  • Product Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish mechanisms for monitoring product performance post-launch. Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to stakeholders, providing insights into product performance, user engagement, and strategic recommendations.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior product owners and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Share best practices, provide feedback, and support the professional development of team members.

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $99,700.00 - $117,300.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.In addition to the determined base salary, this role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
