IT / Cloud & Server Specialist | 25%

This is a remote position.

• Management and further development of an existing server infrastructure 
  
• Setup, maintenance and security of Linux-based systems
  
• Administration of Debian Linux environments
  
• Working with technologies such as nginx, NextCloud, bash, rsync, cron, PostgreSQL, Pure-FTPd, ONLYOFFICE, SSHFS
  
• Development, operation and maintenance of a reliable internal cloud solution
  
• Management of access rights and permission structures
  
• Supporting a team with different levels of IT knowledge (Windows / Mac / Unix clients)
  
• Evaluation and potential improvement or replacement of the current cloud setup
  

Requirements

• Ongoing or completed studies in Computer Science, IT, System Engineering or a related field
  
• Initial hands-on experience with Linux server administration (Debian is a strong plus)
  
• Basic understanding of IT security, backup strategies and storage management
  
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g. Nextcloud or comparable solutions)
  
• Confident use of Bash / Linux CLI
  
• Fluent English required (German is a plus)
  
• Interest in a long-term engagement (20–25%)
