Roles & Responsibilities

Experience leading Platform R&D or equivalent multi-disciplinary tech programs with the ability to define technical strategies aligned with roadmaps.
Proven capability to manage RD teams, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple lines and functions.
Strong knowledge of processes, methods and tools, and ability to select and deploy group and BG standards, plus IP protection awareness.
Ability to secure state-of-the-art resources and competencies by coordinating with metier managers, knowledge managers, P/MT managers, and the Efficiency Manager for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Manage all RD technical activities and define technical strategies for developing required standards (generations, variants) according to platform roadmaps.
Optimize the organization of RD teams within the platform and govern the Processes, Methods and Tools, using group and BG standards; propose or maintain specific ones; oversee training deployment and warranty support.
Build and monitor the Platform RD budget; identify potential synergies with other product lines for technology needs and ensure the development of platform standards and their implementation; ensure IP protection.
Ensure state-of-the-art resources and competences by coordinating with the metier manager, knowledge manager, P/MT manager, and Efficiency Manager to ensure resource availability, tools are provided, and continuous performance improvement.

Manage all R&D technical activities:
