Summary

The Structural Operations Specialist is responsible for receiving and processing incoming bids and take-offs and setting up and maintaining the design application system. This role gathers and translates all necessary internal data to develop accurate and detailed system pages to provide real-time pricing for design centers. Also, the position works in conjunction with branches, builders, internal and external customers, and other internal teams to ensure setup is completed promptly. 

 

Essential Functions

  • Reviews all information from the Bid team and estimating team for accuracy.

  • Set up community per builder specifications including margin, builder participation, standard Products, etc.

  • Performs accurate and timely entry of take-off information into the design pricing system.

  • Provide a detailed key for the diagram team to create matching images to the data entered from take-offs.

  • Break down the whole house bid to apply to a room-by-room allowance that matches the original bid totals provided to builders.

  • Set and monitor allowable areas per room and product per plan.

  • Review entries from fellow team members for accuracy and quality control.

  • Set up product and labor pricing for standard material and upgrades.

  • Other duties as assigned 

Education & Experience

  • High School or equivalent 

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic technology skills, including MS Office Suite
