IVD Program Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

  • University degree or equivalent qualification

  • Applied knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (PRINCE2, Gantt charts, Microsoft Project, Lean Six Sigma)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships; excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in Chinese and English

Requirements:

  • Own development and delivery of China clients' plans in the IVD Team and manage client experience in line with strategy and capacity
  • Work closely with BSI IVDR APAC clients and internal experts to agree a program of work reflecting priorities, capacity and delivery capability
  • Collaborate with clients' senior representatives across all businesses to create, maintain and oversee the implementation of plans in the IVD Team
  • Support Commercial teams in establishing and maintaining strong client relationships to increase BSI IVD market share in APAC countries

IVD Program Manager

China – homebased with some travel to the office required/hybrid depending on location

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Operations Project Management and IVD Team Global Head, the IVD Program Manager will be the key point of contact for the IVD clients in China ensuring that agreed plans are achievable and delivered.

Responsibilities:

  • Own development and delivery of China clients’ plans in IVD Team.

  • Work closely with BSI IVDR APAC clients to agree program of work that reflects their strategy and priorities as well as BSI capacity and delivery capability and help manage client experience. 

  • Work directly with clients’ senior representatives, across all clients’ businesses, to create and maintain effective plans and oversee implementation of the plans in IVD Team.

  • Work with BSI IVD technical and regulatory experts (cheme Managers, technical specialists and QMS Planners) to ensure seamless delivery of clients’ work.

  • Support Commercial teams in establishing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in increase of market holding by BSI IVD team in assigned APAC countries.

  • Produce timelines (anticipated start and end dates) and resource requirements – works closely with client and with internal stakeholders such as Scheme Managers and QMS Planners.

  • Develop, configure and implement processes to manage and track plans will be integral to the role.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • University Degree or equivalent qualification.

  • At least 5 years’ experience of program delivery/management in medical device or life sciences environment.

  • Applied knowledge of tools for project working, for example PRINCE2, Gantt charts, Microsoft Project, Lean Six Sigma

  • Demonstratable experience of building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Chinese and English.
