Executive Assistant, Office of the CEO

Apree Health | East-Coast | Remote

Do Work That Matters.

Apree Health improves access, experience, and outcomes in healthcare. As the parent company of Castlight Health and Vera Whole Health, we partner with employers and health plans to make healthcare more connected, coordinated, and human.

We put the person first. We value innovation, impact, trust, and team. The work we do affects how people access and experience care every day.

‎

How will you make an impact & Requirements

‎

The Role

This is not a traditional executive assistant role.

You are a partner to the CEO and a trusted resource to the broader executive team. While your primary focus is supporting the CEO, you will also provide targeted support to other senior leaders as business priorities require.

Your responsibility is to support leadership focus, strengthen alignment, and actively manage priorities across competing demands. This role requires judgment, not just execution.

The pace is real. Priorities evolve. This role requires flexibility, including availability outside of standard business hours when needed.

 What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and manage the CEO’s calendar, inbox, and scheduling with a prioritization first mindset

  • Assess urgency and importance across meetings, requests, and commitments

  • Flag tradeoffs and recommend focus areas

  • Prepare agendas and materials for leadership meetings and track follow ups and action items

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, travel, and logistics with seamless execution across time zones

  • Anticipate needs in advance and prepare context, materials, and follow ups to keep the CEO and other executives operating at a high level

  • Partner closely with senior leaders to coordinate schedules, planning cycles, and sensitive communications

  • Provide communications support, ad hoc project coordination, and initiative support that requires discretion, judgment, and strong follow through

  • Adapt quickly to evolving priorities and shifting business needs

  • Partner in the planning and execution of key company and leadership events, including offsites and Sales Kickoffs

  • Support special initiatives, transformation efforts, and ad hoc projects as assigned.

  • Conduct basic research, organize data, and assist with presentation development.

  • Anticipate upcoming needs tied to business cycles, growth initiatives, or organizational change.

  • Strengthen executive operating rhythm and cross functional coordination

What You’ll Bring

  •  5+ years experience supporting a CEO or senior executive in a complex, fast paced organization, experience supporting multiple executives preferred

  • Ability to manage priorities and assess urgency, not just execute tasks

  • Comfort working across time zones and adapting to the pace and change of our environment

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); comfort with collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, SharePoint).

  • Exceptional organization and disciplined follow through

  • Clear and concise communication skills

  • High level of discretion and reliability when handling sensitive information

  • Confidence operating independently and anticipating needs

  • Familiarity with board support and executive governance processes.

Why This Role Matters

Apree Health exists to improve healthcare outcomes and experience for the people who rely on it. The leadership team is responsible for delivering on that mission. Your work enables clarity, speed, and focus at the highest levels of the organization. When leadership operates well, the impact extends across the entire company and the people we serve.

This is a role for someone who wants real responsibility, meaningful exposure, and the opportunity to support work that directly affects how healthcare is experienced every day.
