Manages Credentialing Coordinators' performance for timely assessment of Medical Staff appointments, reappointments, and credentialing of Allied Health Professionals. Develops audit tools for credentialing quality, analyzes audit reports, and creates training plans. Interviews and selects new credentialing staff, trains new employees, and provides ongoing cross-training. Conducts credentialing orientation for new Department Chairpersons. Reviews and revises training manuals, orientation processes, and annual competencies. Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring, developing growth plans to improve retention and identifying high performers for management roles. Conducts performance evaluations every 90 days and annually, providing quarterly feedback. Leads and coordinates projects, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. Manages team vacation and PDO time for adequate coverage. Assists with credentialing delays and escalated issues for Medical Staff leadership. Reviews stakeholder satisfaction scores to develop improvement plans. Manages the tracking of Medical Staff Members and Allied Health Professionals with conditional appointments, follows up with Peer Review for compliance, and provides reports to the appropriate department chairman. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated experience computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Credentialing Database system [Required]

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written [Required]
Education:
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• Bachelor’s in business or healthcare administration OR Minimum of four (4) years credentialing experience in a healthcare environment Required
Work Experience:
• 4+ credentialing experience in a healthcare environment [Required]
• Credentialing or a Medical Staff Services office. [Preferred]

Pay Range:
