As a Web Developer at Disability Law Group, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and driving growth through strategic web management. This position exists to bring all web development in-house, eliminating third-party dependencies and streamlining processes. Your work will directly impact our ability to reach and serve clients effectively, supporting our mission to improve lives through legal advocacy. As the architect of our digital space, you'll ensure our web platforms not only function seamlessly but also represent our firm's values of accessibility and excellence.

What you’ll do:

• Website Management: Own the operation of our websites, managing both backend execution and ensuring all updates are effectively implemented.
• Technical SEO Execution: Implement technical improvements to increase search visibility, including managing backlinks, site flow, and content structuring.
• Conversion Optimization: Develop strategies to enhance the user journey on our sites, optimizing pathways to increase consultation bookings and overall client engagement.
• Data Tracking: Configure and maintain analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, ensuring precise tracking of site performance and user interaction.
• Collaborative Contribution: Work alongside the marketing team, providing consistent updates on web performance and delivering insights on potential improvements.
• Site Security & Performance: Ensure the websites maintain optimal functionality, security, and speed, addressing any issues preemptively to avert disruptions.

What we’re looking for: 

• Backend Development Experience: Proven experience managing WordPress admin, themes, and plugins, with a focus on backend development.
• Technical SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO principles including site structure and linking strategies, with hands-on application.
• Data Management Skills: Proficiency in using analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for tracking and reporting.
• Independent Work Ethic: Ability to work autonomously, managing tasks efficiently and communicating progress regularly.
• Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clarity in reporting and collaboration.
