Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum three years of experience in asset management
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel to production sites in the UK and abroad
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting and SCADA data interpretation

Requirements:

  • Manage assets on a day-to-day basis and act as the client’s main point of contact, handling requests and preparing regular client reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Carry out Operational Controller duties including on-call weekends, monitor daily solar status, perform performance analyses, site logbook reviews, and ensure HSE statutory compliance and site inspections
  • Collect, interpret and present data from SCADA, conduct fault investigations, monitor contractual obligations and performance of OM and service providers, and propose technical improvement solutions
  • Support the UK growth by assisting the sales team with BESS Asset Management offerings, providing training, representing Greensolver at events, and contributing to marketing/content

Greensolver, the leading third-party providers of services to the renewable energy sector, (since 2008), manages wind and solar power assets for its investment funds clients in Europe.

Greensolver is ramping up its development through an organic growth (new clients) and external growth strategy (acquisition and partnerships). Greensolver recently joined the Voltalia group and operates as an independent entity.

Greensolver offers a wide range of solutions covering construction, technical, administrative and financial operations of wind and solar plants and advises investors on the acquisition or sale of assets.

Job Description

As part of Greensolver’s technical team you will work in the technical asset management team to ensure proper operation of Storage plants under our management. You will assist in the operational control of all aspects of each project, analyze data, rectify issues and drive performance and quality improvements

This role has aspects that are broader than just a technical function including supporting the team with implementation of quality systems and processes which deliver performance improvements and support the growth of the business in the UK. As an asset manager you will be responsible for building good working relationships with all clients’ and you will be their main point of contact within Greensolver.

The Asset Manager will:

  • Manage assets on day-to-day basis

  • Be the Client’s point of contact & address Client’s request pertaining to the asset managed

  • Perform Operational Controller duties, including, on call duties during the week ends..

  • Prepare client reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual)

  • Be responsible for daily Solar status monitoring

  • Carry out performance analysis

  • Be responsible for Site Logbook monitoring

  • Collection, interpretation and presentation of data extracted from SCADA.

  • Complete Initial fault investigation

  • Create & Review Health and Safety plans

  • Ensure HSE & Statutory compliance of the asset

  • Carry out site inspections

  • Populating contractual reports

  • Monitor O&M’s and Service Provider’s performance and contractual obligations

  • Look for technical improvement solutions and propose them to the clients

  • When needed, assist financial teams on asset budget calculation & cost tracking

  • Responsible for general administration of each project

  • When needed, represent Greensolver in industry events and workshops,

  • Follow internal guidelines and processes

  • Support content creation to showcase Greensolver activities on social media platforms or commercial offers (cases studies)

 

Also, considering the growth in the business in the UK, the Asset Manager may have to support the sales team in:

  • Supporting on crafting of our BESS Asset Management offers,

  • Attending customer introduction meeting and helping in presenting Greensolver scope of work to customers,

  • Giving the necessary training to the sales teams to introduce the Asset Management scope of work and the added value of Greensolver services.

  • Supporting in expanding our range of expertise in BESS

 

The post will involve eventual travel to production sites in UK and also abroad.

The post will involve taking care progressively of similar tasks on the Solar or Wind assets.

Driving licence valid for UK required.

Experience required: minimum three years in asset management

Location: Can be based remotely anywhere in the UK, with occasional travel for site visits or to London office.

Salary: Competitive salary dependant on experience, with fixed and variable salary. 25 days' annual leave , in additional to public holidays.

Start date: as soon as possible
