  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills; ability to structure problems and explain insights to both business and technical stakeholders; collaborative with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English.

Requirements:

  • Lead and contribute to the delivery of commercial analytics engagements across domains (sales, marketing, pricing/RGM, customer/shoppers, e-commerce), ensuring solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business decision-making.
  • Translate business problems into analytics requirements, KPIs, and scalable solution designs; collaborate with client teams to define success criteria and repeatable approaches.
  • Support pre-sales and client engagements with proposals, solution design, POVs, demos, and effort estimation; participate in client discussions to demonstrate analytics value.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and data scientists to industrialize analytics accelerators, frameworks, and templates; contribute to standardized KPI frameworks and production-ready solutions.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a versatile Commercial Analytics Consultant to strengthen Lingaro’s Commercial Analytics Practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full commercial analytics landscape — from framing business questions and designing analytical approaches to shaping scalable data and AI solutions for global consumer goods companies.

You will operate at the intersection of business, analytics, and technology, contributing to three key areas:

  1. Delivering billable commercial analytics projects
  2. Supporting pre-sales and client engagements
  3. Designing scalable analytics solutions and accelerators

The role requires a strong ability to translate business needs into actionable analytics, working closely with both client stakeholders and Lingaro delivery teams to ensure solutions are relevant, scalable, and impactful.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Commercial Analytics Projects
  • Contribute to the delivery of commercial analytics engagements across areas such as:
  • Sales and commercial performance analytics
  • Marketing and media effectiveness
  • Revenue Growth Management (pricing, promotions, assortment)
  • Customer and shopper analytics
  • E-commerce and digital shelf analytics
  • Commercial KPI frameworks and performance management
  • Work with clients to understand business priorities, define analytical approaches, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure delivered analytics solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business decision-making processes.

 

Translate Business Problems into Analytics Solutions

• Partner with client commercial teams (sales, marketing, RGM, digital, customer development) to frame key business questions and success criteria.

• Convert business needs into clear analytical requirements, KPIs, and solution designs.

• Structure analytical approaches that combine data, metrics, and models to generate meaningful business insights.

• Ensure solutions are designed to be repeatable and scalable across markets, brands, or business units.

 

Support Pre-Sales and Client Engagements

• Support the development of client proposals and solution approaches for commercial analytics opportunities.

• Contribute to:

  • Solution design and value proposition development
  • Creation of Proofs of Value (POVs) and demo use cases
  • Effort estimation and delivery approach definition

• Participate in client discussions and presentations to explain how analytics and data solutions can address commercial challenges.

 

Contribute to Solution Development & Industrialization

• Support the design and development of reusable analytics accelerators, frameworks, and templates across commercial analytics domains.

• Contribute to standardized KPI frameworks, data models, and solution blueprints that enable faster project deployment.

• Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and data science teams to ensure solutions are technically robust and production-ready.

 

Collaborate Across Delivery Teams

• Work closely with data engineers, BI developers, and data scientists to ensure the correct implementation of analytical logic and business requirements.

• Participate in solution validation, testing, and refinement to ensure accuracy, usability, and business relevance.

• Ensure strong alignment between business intent and technical implementation.

 

Required Experience & Skills

 

Commercial Analytics Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in analytics consulting, commercial analytics, or data-driven business roles.
• Exposure to multiple commercial analytics domains such as:

  • Sales and commercial performance analytics
  • Marketing and media analytics
  • Pricing, promotions, or Revenue Growth Management
  • Customer, shopper, or channel analytics
  • Digital commerce analytics

• Experience translating business questions into analytical approaches and deliverables.

 

Analytics & Technology Foundation

• Strong analytical foundation with experience working with multi-source commercial data.

• Experience defining KPIs, metrics frameworks, and analytical workflows.

• Hands-on experience with analytics and BI tools such as:

  • SQL
  • Python or R
  • Power BI / Tableau / similar visualization tools

• Familiarity with data pipelines, data modelling, and scalable analytics solutions is a strong plus.

 

Consulting & Communication Skills

• Ability to structure problems and design practical analytics solutions.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain analytical approaches and insights to both business and technical stakeholders.

• Comfortable working in client-facing environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.

 

Language:

• Fluent in English.
