Job Summary: 
Alluvionic is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Manager to support proposal development efforts for government and industry customers within the defense and government sector This role supports the full proposal lifecycle from opportunity intake through final submission. The Proposal Manager will drive cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with capture strategy, and deliver submissions on time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Proposal Operations Support
  • Maintain proposal templates, libraries, and reusable content
  • Support proposal development by organizing content, outlines, and supporting materials
  • Assist with compliance matrices and proposal structure
  • Coordinate proposal content and ensure submissions meet solicitation requirements
  • Support proposal review processes and preparation activities
Proposal Systems & Tools
  • Operate and maintain proposal development tools and automation platforms
  • Maintain proposal knowledge libraries and templates
  • Review system-generated content for tone, clarity, and accuracy
  • Support team members in using proposal tools and workflows
  • Identify opportunities to improve proposal efficiency through systems and automation
Opportunity Research Support
  • Monitor opportunity sources and platforms for relevant contracting opportunities
  • Track upcoming opportunities and maintain pipeline information
  • Support research related to customers, programs, and potential partners
  • Assist with preparation of opportunity summaries for business development leadership

Qualifications and Skills:
  • 1–3 years of experience supporting proposal development, business development, or related operations
  • Experience working with solicitations such as RFPs, RFQs, or RFIs preferred
  • Familiarity with opportunity research platforms or pipeline tracking tools preferred
  • Preferred: experience with collaboration or workflow tools such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, or similar platforms
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience supporting proposal submissions or proposal operations
  • Familiarity with proposal review processes or compliance requirements
  • Experience developing templates, content libraries, or knowledge repositories
  • Exposure to proposal automation or AI-enabled proposal tools
