Description

WTWH Media is seeking an experienced candidate and a Cvent whiz for the position of Registration Manager to join our Events team.  The Registration Manager will be responsible for supporting internal stakeholders with optimizing the use of the third-party registration systems. The role will involve being the key point of contact to set up and maintain registration for a portfolio of 30+ events, including managing customer inquiries.


For all events, the registration manager will support the end-to-end delivery of registration and will require travel to events 7-10 times per year.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand the scope and requirements for each event
  • Build and manage registration process end-to-end through Cvent platform to include creation of registration sites, registration related email communications and onsite (live) registration activation and deployment.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure registration site is in alignment with brand guidelines 
  • Maintain the registration event schedule and ensure all events follow recommended timelines.
  • Work with Cvent  to order equipment (printers, badge stock, lanyards, etc.) for each event
  • Provide weekly event level reporting on pacing, attendee counts and ticket revenue
  • Attend weekly meetings as required
  • Own of customer service email inbox and serve as first point of contact for registration related inquiries.

Onsite Duties:

  • In partnership with the Event Operational Lead, create work schedule to ensure coverage of registration desks during show hours
  • Set up / teardown of registration area to include event technology (Cvent Event In a Box)
  • Train temporary and/or other staff on the registration system and process
Requirements
  • Mastery of Cvent and Cvent Certification(s) for Event Management Module
  • 3+ years of experience in registration management within trade shows and/or conferences
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate with colleagues of varying levels of experience, whether in person, written, via telephone or in video conference
  • Excellent written and spoken English Well-versed in the use of EXCEL
  • Adaptable to change and a fast-paced environment
  • Ambitious, influential and hyper-attentive to detail
