  • Proficiency with credit spreading software (e.g., Abrigo Sageworks) and the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with CECL impairment methodology and collateral evaluation processes.

  • Portfolio Intelligence: Identify trends, cash flow variances, and collateral risks to provide Special Assets leadership with the insights needed for effective decision-making.
  • Risk Mitigation Monitoring: Actively track collateral compliance, including real estate tax and insurance, to ensure our portfolio remains secure and audit-ready.
  • Impairment Orchestration: Lead the CECL impairment analysis for individually evaluated loans, documenting reserve conclusions with precision and speed.

  • Compensation: Base compensation for this role ranges from $37.50 - $43.27 hourly.
  • Remote Work Environment (Preferred Time Zone: We are seeking candidates who are based in the Central Time Zone & Eastern Time Zone)

The Commercial Special Assets Credit Analyst is a vital partner in maintaining the health and integrity of our lending portfolio. By performing deep financial analysis and proactive credit monitoring, you ensure sustainable growth for our partner credit unions. This role is essential in identifying risk early and crafting strategic workout solutions that protect our organization and our borrowers.

Requirements
Professional Foundation 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis, loan review, or a similar banking/financial services role.
  • Proficiency with credit spreading software (e.g., Abrigo Sageworks) and the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with CECL impairment methodology and collateral evaluation processes is preferred.
