We are seeking a Web Developer/Engineer – Senior for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Commercial and DIW.  This role is off site and the client is located in Battle Creek, MI. The Senior Web Developer/Designer is responsible for the development of middle to high-end web-based applications, designing and developing web and faceless applications, and porting applications to a web interface. Interfaces with clients to determine or refine requirements, support testing and release management. Requires good customer relation skills. 

Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software
• Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications
• Research, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements
• Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software
• Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
• Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
• Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
• Participates in development of software user manuals
• Participates in design and development of new software products or major enhancements to existing software

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a T3 Investigation 
• Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field with seven years’ experience, or bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience, in scripting, software development, web page design and development. development, web page design and development. 
• Compliant with IAT II 8570 Certification, typically the Security+ certification; no privilege access required 
• Experience Designing, developing, enhancing, debugging, and implementing software 
• Experienced in researching, testing, building, and coordinating the conversion or integration of new products based on customer requirements products 
• Experience in requirements refinement, software development, testing, and documentation.
• Fluent in Visual Studio using C#
• Fluent in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience with development for Apple iOS and Android
• Must be able to work independently with no supervision.

Total Rewards Statement

We believe in fairness and clarity throughout our hiring process. The anticipated salary range for this position is $83,000.00-$93,000. 00 USD. This is a good faith range based on factors such as your experience, geographic location, any applicable contractual requirements, and may vary slightly.
