Job description

This is a remote position.

BGTS is looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong banking domain knowledge to join our growing team. This role focuses on business analysis, coordination, and vendor management, acting as a bridge between internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of digital banking solutions.

This position is ideal for someone who understands digital banking channels, APIs, and modern banking architectures, while also being able to translate business requirements into clear documentation for technical teams.



Requirements

  • Act as the main coordination point between internal banking teams and external vendors

  • Gather, clarify, and document business requirements

  • Prepare analysis documents and functional specifications

  • Route requirements to the appropriate technical teams

  • Ensure solutions are handled by the correct system layer or responsible team

  • Follow up on vendor deliverables and coordinate with internal stakeholders

  • Support project timelines, meetings, and delivery tracking

  • Provide light project coordination where required

Functional Requirements

  • Strong banking domain knowledge

  • Good understanding of digital banking channels

  • Familiarity with internet banking and mobile banking processes

  • Solid experience in business analysis and requirements documentation

  • Ability to translate business needs into structured inputs for technical teams

  • Experience collaborating with external vendors and stakeholders

Technical Awareness

  • General understanding of core banking platforms (e.g., Mambu or similar)

  • Conceptual knowledge of microservice architecture

  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and API gateway structures

  • Ability to distinguish between channel, middleware/domain, and core banking layers

  • Enough technical awareness to follow and challenge technical discussions when needed

Candidate Profile

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience

  • Strong command of English

  • Experience in banking or financial services environments

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
