Data Analyst at TestYantra Software Solutions

This role is working as a data analyst in an IT product team that support the end to end for a number of Risk models. The work will involve analyzing data requirements (this will include reviewing SAS code), validating the data via SQL, defining transformations for development teams, working with the development team to validate code, and managing of the testing cycles (would not review the code line by line, but they need to be able to support the developer explaining the functional requirement and incidents in the code).

Job Responsibilities / Role:

• As Is analysis / documentation of functional process flow

• Analysis of SAS / End User Computing to determine data usage and validating data via SQL

• Create BRDs and technical specifications for the to be data sets, including specifying the transformation / mappings and integration to other components

• Design / Document the to be process

• Supporting developers in the technical testing to explain functional requirements. Lead the UAT process ensuring all incidents are resolved

Mandatory Skills:

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills covering requirements gathering, specifications, user stories and guides.

• Practical / Advanced experience carrying out complex data analysis using SQL, including data testing and reconciliation

• Able to plan and organise own time within objectives and to know how work relates to others.

• Experience of working with end users to plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Attention to detail

• Have a deep experience working in Financial Services / Banking organisation with an understanding of Financial Services / Retail, Business and Corporate Banking

• Exposure to SAS

Nice To Have Skills:

• Good understanding of cloud technologies, in particular AWS and BI tools

• Exposure to sizable transformation programs and data migrations

• A passion for enhancing your knowledge and evidence curiosity in emerging technologies
