Roles & Responsibilities

8+ years of experience in Java development
Strong knowledge of Java 8, JSP/Servlets/JSTL, custom tags, JSON, HTML/CSS, and advanced JavaScript; experience with Eclipse and Tomcat
Experience with build/deploy tools (Ant/Maven, Jenkins) and automated testing (JUnit, JMockit)
Excellent understanding of web services (SOAP/REST), MS SQL with stored procedures, and familiarity with design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Abstract Factory)

Requirements:

Develop and deliver Java-based applications using Java 8, JSP/Servlets, JSON, HTML/CSS and advanced JavaScript.
Design and implement SOAP/REST web services, apply design patterns, and work on integration techniques.
Utilize build/deploy tools (Ant, Maven, Jenkins) and drive automated testing (JUnit, JMockit) within CI/CD pipelines.
Focus on performance tuning, memory leak identification and fixing, and ensuring non-functional requirements such as reliability, availability, scalability and security.

Experience in Agile/Scrum projects

Travel Domain knowledge

javascript frameworks like BackboneJS

Exposure to non-functional aspects of large applications like reliability, availability, scalability, security, fail-over etc.

Exposure to Performance Tuning and Load Testing etc. and has knowledge about Memory Leaks identification and fixing.
