Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d) Debt Collection

Your Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Sales Initiatives: Drive high-value sales cycles within the debt purchase and debt collections space, focusing on large banks and, financial institutions that sell NPL portfolios.
- Own the Revenue Journey: Manage the entire sales process — from pipeline generation and stakeholder engagement to complex contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Target and Grow Key Accounts: Identify and develop relationships with high-potential banking partners across Germany. Build consultative solutions to address receivables challenges.
- Leverage Your Network: Utilize and expand your existing network within the Banking industry, particularly with decision-makers responsible that sell NPL portfolios.
- Be a Thought Leader: Represent Riverty at industry events, conferences, and client forums; share market insights and support go-to-market strategies in collaboration with product and marketing teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, key account management, legal, risk, and operations teams to create tailored debt acquisition and recovery solutions.
- Drive Innovation: Feed client insights into product development and identify emerging trends in financial recovery and debt management.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven Expertise: 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally in fintech, debt purchase, debt collections, or receivables management.
- Banking Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the German debt collection regulatory landscape, credit risk, NPL portfolio sales, and banking sector dynamics.
- Strong Network: Established relationships within the Banking industry, especially with sellers of NPL portfolios.
- Senior Stakeholder Confidence: Ability to engage C-level executives and navigate complex decision-making processes.
- Strategic Mindset: Experience with solution selling, challenger sales, or consultative selling methods in high-value transactions.
- Tech-Savvy & Data-Driven: Familiarity with financial technology platforms, CRM systems, and data-centric sales approaches.
- Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
