Requirements:

  • Execute visual merchandising strategies and product presentation to drive sell-through and margins across Lilly Pulitzer retail stores.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and merchandising teams to align on seasonal imagery, in-store signage, window graphics, promotional displays, and campaigns.
  • Provide seasonal and delivery guidelines for stores, including refresh/off-cadence planning, and create regional window options for buy differences and delayed shipments.
  • Review store merchandising photos, offer constructive feedback, train stores, and support store openings, off-site events, renovations, and other company visual needs.

Job Description

The Senior Visual Merchandiser supports Retail stores in creating compelling seasonal presentations that align with the brand, enhance the consumer experience, and encourage full price purchasing and relationship selling in the retail stores. Collaborating with different teams, this position assists in executing visual merchandising, creative installations, and in-store marketing efforts. The Senior Visual Merchandiser assists in seasonal and new store openings, as well as brand presentations for the company.   

A day in the life… 

  • Executes VM strategies through the presentation of Lilly Pulitzer products lifecycle process. 

  • Drive healthy sell throughs and margins through the product placement in the Retail stores.  

  • Provide clear and detailed seasonal and delivery guidelines for stores including refresh and off cadence needs. Create window options to account for regional buy differences and delayed style shipments. 

  • Responsible for reviewing the selling of key items, business drivers, and featured merchandise in the visual guidelines and modify based on selling. 

  • Partner with the marketing teams to align on and request seasonal imagery, in-store signage, window graphics, promotional displays and signage. 

  • Partner with design and merchandising teams on key looks to assure positive results are driven and aligned with campaigns. 

  • Help create, order, and execute seasonal propping to help draw customers into stores and create a positive customer experience. 

  • Review each store’s photos. Utilize each store’s merchandising photos as a training opportunity. Give constructive criticism and encourage the stores to problem solve. Be flexible enough to allow for regional and store profile differences to be reflected in the merchandise execution.   

  • Support and attend store openings, off-site events, renovations, and non-seasonal company visual needs.  

Qualifications for the Position 

  • A four-year college degree is required, preferably with a major/minor within visual merchandising, marketing, or business-related degree. 

  • 5 years of visual merchandising experience, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.

  • This position is classified as full-time salaried; it is exempt and is not eligible for overtime This position is eligible for standard company benefits.  

  • This position is remote based, with travel required to our home office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and retail stores.  Travel needs will be determined by your supervisor. This position must be located within 30 miles of a retail store.

  • The position requires at least 45% domestic travel.  

  • Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods. 

  • This position is expected to collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with our Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
