  • Negotiate long-term contracts (24-36 months) with existing clients with a focus on an increase in monthly recurring revenue and solutions utilized
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Legal, Product, and Marketing to coordinate large-deal strategies, sales campaigns/promotions, and pipeline fulfillment

How you will impact the organization…

In this role, you  will be responsible for new logo growth and driving expansion within our existing customer base on the Commercial Team. You'll spearhead revenue growth and minimize churn within your assigned territory, focusing on companies with 1,000-5,000 employees in the Health, Finance, Legal, Real Estate, Retail, and Manufacturing sectors.

  • Negotiate long-term contracts (24-36 months) with existing clients with a focus on an increase in monthly recurring revenue and solutions utilized
  • Ongoing data analysis to identify time-to-strike opportunities and grow current customer's portfolio utilization
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Legal, Product, and Marketing to coordinate large-deal strategies, sales campaigns/promotions, and pipeline fulfillment
  • Your primary objectives will align with critical KPIs and quota attainment with a focus on quarterly and annualized objectives
  • Provide accurate pipelines and forecast models to senior management on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis 
  • Engage with the assigned book of business regarding billing concerns, upgrades, etc.
  • Networking with other vendors clients are partnering with to uncover additional sales opportunities
  • Attending industry-related conferences
  • Other secondary duties and responsibilities will surface on an as-needed or as-determined basis, by management
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

 

What you will bring to the table…

  • 4+ years experience in B2B sales
  • 3+ years of experience selling SaaS &/or UCaaS platforms
  • 3+ years of experience in utilizing CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
  • 3+  years of experience in a role with a heavy focus on prospecting/hunting 
  • 3+ years of experience presenting to senior leadership via phone and video conference
  • 2+ years of experience selling technical SaaS platforms
  • Experience with Gong
  • Driven and self-motivated to exceed quotas
  • Strong sense of urgency to build a healthy sales pipeline
  • Strong prospecting skills with a hunter mentality
  • Exceptional relationship-selling skills
  • Persistence to overcome rejections
  • Coachable, driven to expand knowledge
  • Agile and adaptable to evolving business needs
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex, technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences

You will stand out if you also have…

  • 5+  years of experience in account management and revenue development
  • 5+  years of experience in a role with a heavy focus on prospecting/hunting 
  • Telecom sales background 
  • Subject matter expert of technical SaaS platforms with respect to the value proposition
  • MEDDICC Certified

 

Additional details…

  • Location requirements: Fully remote within the U.S. 
  • Travel requirements: Up to 10% travel. 
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time.
  • Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet
  • Eligible for sponsorship: no

The salary range for this role is $47,500 - $145,000 annually plus commission.  The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits. This job doesn't have an expiration date and will remain open until a qualified candidate is hired.
