Senior Payroll Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

  • 3-5 years payroll experience
  • India payroll knowledge (basic)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • UKG experience is a plus (preferred)

Requirements:

  • Perform payroll audits and processing, including quarterly and ad hoc benefit deduction audits with PlanSource (US) and pulling/preparing payroll, benefits, and compensation reports for Finance and Total Rewards (Global).
  • Review payroll audit trails and preview files prior to processing; provide backup and support coverage for Payroll Specialists during leave or holidays (EMEA and APJ); support India payroll.
  • Support global payroll projects as needed, participate in data review and validation with UKG as part of the Global Payroll Implementation, organize payroll folders/files, and maintain/update country-specific Toolboxes and reference resources.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding time-off balances; assist employees with navigation in UKG and the Employee Resource Center (ERC); provide copies of year-end statements, pay stubs, and other payroll documents; monitor the payroll inbox and ensure timely resolution.

Payroll Responsibilities:

Payroll Audits/Processing

  • Perform benefit deduction audits with PlanSource on a quarterly and ad hoc basis (U.S.).
  • Pull and prepare payroll, benefits, and compensation reports upon request from Finance and Total Rewards teams (Global).
  • Conduct various payroll-related audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance (Global).
  • Review payroll audit trails and preview files prior to payroll processing (Global).
  • Provide backup and support coverage for Payroll Specialists during leave or holidays (EMEA and APJ)
  • Support Payroll Analyst with India Payroll

Payroll Projects

  • Support global payroll projects as needed.
  • Participate in data review and validation with UKG as part of the Global Payroll Implementation.
  • Organize payroll folders and files to ensure proper documentation and accessibility (Global).
  • Organize, update, and help create instruction manuals, tips, and reference resources.
  • Maintain and update payroll “Toolboxes” for each country.
  • Complete additional payroll-related tasks as assigned (Global).

First-Level Payroll & Benefits Support

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding time-off balances (Global).
  • Assist employees with navigation and basic questions in UKG and the Employee Resource Center (ERC) (Global).
  • Provide copies of year-end statements, pay stubs, and other payroll documents upon request.
  • Monitor the payroll inbox, assign inquiries to appropriate team members, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.

 

Required / Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • 3-5 years payroll experience required
  • India payroll knowledge required (not expert but basic knowledge)
  • US payroll knowledge preferred or a plus
  • EMEA and/or APJ payroll knowledge a plus
  • UKG experience a plus.
